An emblem is different than a logo to me. As a creative and owning my own business and knowing how to envision and follow through with my own website - I have made about I don't know about 150? versions of my home page?

Ok maybe more like 25. And one thing I have learned in teaching myself all about websites, branding, marketing, writing, formatting on Go High Level, strategizing this and that - is that one influences the other. An idea springs forth another idea.

One sentence will send me down canva and ai for visual creations. And I love dream catchers.

I've made many of them with a friend with willow and wildly gathered things with authentic cat gut. Added the feathers and scrounged the thrift stores for glass beads some from Africa.

So when I took that dream catcher and placed it as the container around the compass of the 4 hands -I think I just found my brand emblem to continue to recreate digital versions and to use as a template for a new art project of some sort. I was thinking of caller her "all for hands!"

Most of us live from the neck up... analyzing, planning, problem-solving, managing that mental browser with 47 tabs open. We think our way through everything, including our bodies.

My shoulder hurts, it's probably from sleeping wrong.
My back is tight, I should stretch more.
I'm tired, I just need more coffee.

But here's the fascinating part: your brain constantly decides what gets through to conscious awareness. 𝗜𝘁 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱, 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗮𝘀𝗸𝘀 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. 𝗬𝗼𝘂'𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴.

When you drop into your body and feel instead of analyze, you start perceiving what's been filtered out. The jaw tension that's connected to that shoulder pain. The held breath that's keeping your back rigid. The exhaustion that's actually your nervous system begging for a reset.

This is what bodywork does... it pulls you out of your head and into direct sensory experience. The gate control effect means that when skilled touch stimulates those fast nerve fibers, it literally changes what your brain can perceive. No analyzing. No fixing. Just feeling what's up.

Your body has been trying to tell you something.

That tight spot in your shoulder that's been there so long you don't even notice it anymore. The way you hold your breath when you're focused.

Here is the quiet story most of us have been living.
I will take care of myself once things settle down.
◻Once summer ends.
◻ Once school starts and finds its rhythm.
◻ Once the books balance.
◻ Once the kids are sorted.
◻ Once the season is over and the busy part is behind me.
◻ Once I have done enough, given enough, earned enough.

But August becomes September. September becomes the holidays. October becomes Thanksgiving before we are in November! The finish line keeps moving because the finish line was never real.

Worthiness is not a reward issued at the end of hard work.
◻ It is not something you graduate into after sufficient sacrifice.
◻It is not a prize for the most depleted person in the room.
◻ It is a decision.

Quiet. Personal. Available to you right now, not after everything else is handled.

"My body matters. My restoration is not optional. I do not have to earn the right to be cared for. I simply have to believe I am worth it.?

SETTLE down, you busy biscuit!
Okay, real talk: When was the last time your brain actually turned OFF?

Not just "I'm relaxing on the couch scrolling my phone" off. I mean truly, deeply, nervous-system-at-rest OFF.

Between labor day, end of the season festivals, back-to-school chaos, business planning, election news, wedding season, and that never-ending mental list of things you're supposed to remember... your mind is like a browser with 47 tabs open. And three of them are playing music.

Your body feels it too. The feeling of being buzzy and wired even when you're exhausted.

Here's what I know: You can't think your way into calm. 🧐

You have to give your nervous system permission to downshift...and sometimes it needs help remembering how.

That's where my bodywork comes in.
