Meet Dow Henderson, the helicopter mechanic who helps keep Air Evac Lifeteam 174 in the air! 🚁🔧

Dow is an incredibly important part of our team. While our medical crews care for patients in the back, Dow is one of the people working behind the scenes to make sure our aircraft is safe, maintained, and ready when the call comes in.

But if you know Dow, you also know he’s about as friendly as they come. He’s always ready with a smile, always available for a conversation… and if we’re being completely fair, Dow can probably out-talk every single one of us. 😂

His personality makes him easy to love, but it’s the work he does every day that earns our absolute trust and appreciation. Knowing Dow is taking care of our aircraft gives our crews confidence every time we lift.

We truly appreciate everything you do for 174, Dow. We’re lucky to have you!

🚁 A great day of teamwork with our neighbors to the south!

Air Evac Lifeteam 174 responded to Bonham, Texas for a scene flight, transporting our patient to Children’s Medical Center Dallas.

A huge thank you to Bonham Fire for the incredible care, communication, and collaboration on scene. We’re grateful for the opportunity to work alongside such dedicated first responders and for the partnerships that allow us to provide seamless care from the scene to the receiving facility.

Proud to serve our communities on both sides of the Red River! ❤️🚁

Congratulations to Beth Wilson on earning her 100 Patient Flight Wings! 🚁🪽

Behind those wings are countless hours of training, long shifts, challenging calls, and a steadfast commitment to providing exceptional care to patients on some of the hardest days of their lives. Reaching 100 patient flights is a reflection of the professionalism, compassion, and dedication that make a great flight clinician.
Congratulations on this incredible milestone, Beth. It’s well deserved, and here’s to many more safe flights, successful missions, and lives touched along the way. As a bonus they are presented to her by her original partner that helped her start this amazing journey! 174 wouldn’t be the same without you!!

Becca brings both knowledge and positivity to every shift. She’s known for her exceptional IV skills, has an impressive understanding of laboratory values, and is especially passionate about burn care, always ready to tackle even the most complex formulas and calculations with confidence.

While her clinical skills are outstanding, it’s her attitude that truly sets her apart. Becca always has a smile on her face, approaches every challenge with optimism, and brings an encouraging energy that makes our crew stronger.

Whether she’s caring for a critically ill patient or supporting her teammates, Becca consistently demonstrates the compassion, professionalism, and dedication that define our mission.

If you ask his partner what makes Clayton special, the answer is easy: he’s the kind of teammate everyone hopes to work with.

Clayton has a way of making everyone feel welcome. He’s approachable, personable, and always willing to help, whether you’re a brand-new crew member or someone with years of experience.

Known for his extensive knowledge of aircraft operations and critical care medicine, Clayton teaches in a way that’s both supportive and challenging. He takes the time to answer questions, encourages others to grow, and genuinely enjoys helping those around him become better clinicians.

His sense of humor keeps the long shifts enjoyable, but when it’s time to care for a patient, Clayton is focused, professional, and someone his crew trusts completely.

We’re proud to have Clayton on our team and grateful for the knowledge, mentorship, and positivity he brings to every mission.

We are incredibly grateful to the Durant Area Chamber of Commerce for helping us celebrate this exciting milestone with our ribbon cutting! 🚁❤️

It is an honor to serve Durant and the surrounding communities. Every mission is a team effort, and we’re thankful for the trust placed in Air Evac Lifeteam 174 by our local EMS agencies, hospitals, first responders, and the community we call home.

Busy day for Air Evac Lifeteam 174! 🚁

Today our crew~Beth, Katy, and Kris~had the privilege of responding alongside Bryan County EMS on two scene flights.

We just want to give a huge shoutout to their crew. They did an outstanding job with patient care, communication, and preparation, making for smooth transitions and great teamwork on both scenes.

We truly appreciate the professionalism and partnership we get to experience with our local first responders. It takes all of us working together to provide the best care possible for our patients.

Thank you, Bryan County EMS, for everything you do. We’re always proud to be on the same team. 🚑🤝🚁

This morning, members of Air Evac Lifeteam 174 were honored to participate in the Jarid Taylor Memorial 5K.

It was a privilege to join our fellow first responders and community members in honoring Deputy Jarid Taylor’s life and legacy while supporting a cause that continues to serve the families of fallen law enforcement officers.

Thank you to everyone who organized, volunteered, and participated in this meaningful event. We are proud to stand alongside our local public safety partners—not only when responding to emergencies, but also in remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Never forgotten.
