π July is Minority Mental Health Month π
For far too long, many people have been taught to suffer in silence.
We have heard phrases like:
"Be strong."
"Pray about it."
"Keep it to yourself."
"What happens in this family stays in this family."
While faith, resilience, and family are valuable, so is caring for your mental health.
It is okay to ask for help.
It is okay to cry.
It is okay to set healthy boundaries.
It is okay to choose peace.
It is okay to heal.
This month, let us encourage conversations that replace shame with support and judgment with compassion. Every person deserves to feel safe, valued, and heard.
If you or someone you love has been struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, or life changes, know that help is available. Healing is possible, and you do not have to walk the journey alone.
Together, let us continue to break the stigma and remind every member of our community that their mental health matters.
π Healing begins with one conversation.
