Gross Motor Milestones for Babies 12 Months Old

Did you know that by 12 months of age, many babies are beginning to take their first independent steps and explore the world in exciting new ways?

Some common gross motor milestones around 12 month olds include:
⭕ Transitioning to stand using hands and feet
⭕ Walking with one hand held for several feet
⭕ Taking a few independent steps
⭕ Trapping or catching a ball with their arms and hands while sitting
