Friendship grief is real even when there was no falling out, no drama, and no big moment.
Sometimes people just grow apart and that's one of the quietest kinds of loss.

Our Lunch & Learn Series is a free, monthly space to slow down, learn something meaningful, and feel a little more supported in what you're navigating.

This month's Lunch & Learn focuses on how to choose a therapist. Finding the right fit can feel overwhelming, especially when you're not sure what to look for. Rachel Kane, MS, LCMHCA will walk through how to find a therapist who feels right for you, what questions to ask, and how to move through the process with more clarity and confidence.

You'll leave with a better understanding of your options and a clearer sense of your next step.
You're welcome to bring your lunch, your questions, or just yourself. Cameras on or off is always okay.

The Lunch & Learn Series is free and open to the public.
Registration is required to receive the Zoom link.

Was there ever a time you thought something was wrong with you… but it was literally just being around people? 😭

Not everyone walks into a room feeling confident, relaxed, and socially smooth.
And that's okay. That doesn’t make you weird. That doesn’t make you less worthy of connection. The right people will not need a perfect version of you 🤍

TODAY'S REMINDER:

You do not have to force a smile, pretend you’re fine, or push yourself to hold everything together all the time. You’re allowed to have hard days. You’re allowed to feel tired, overwhelmed, or emotionally worn out.
Give yourself permission to be where you are today, without guilt, without pressure, and without needing to explain it. 🤍

Some parts of you were shaped by survival, and they came from moments when you were just trying to get through with what you had.

It can be easy to look back and wish you were different, softer, or less affected by what you’ve been through, but those parts of you did not appear without reason.

Healing is not always about changing those parts. Sometimes, it is about understanding them, being gentler with yourself, and learning to love the version of you that did what it had to do 🤍

While not every hard friendship means someone is narcissistic, repeated patterns of manipulation, self-centeredness, and emotional harm should never be ignored. Healthy friendships should feel safe, mutual, and respectful, not exhausting.

If this feels familiar, it may be time to pay attention to what this friendship is costing you.
