🗣 Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers and morher figures! 🎉

I am so grateful to all the women in my life who made me who I am! I reflect on my kindergarten teacher Mrs. Rowlette who had patience with me and my dyslexia. My 3rd grade teacher Mrs. Clark who read to us and we listened intently anticipating the next episode from the Boxcar kids. My middle school teachers Ms. Brown and Ms. Chavis who reminded us of how to be respectful young ladies, just to name a few.

None of these women had children of their own at the time but I felt their nurturing love, an extension of my own mother's love. I am eternally grateful!

Celebrate the women who have helped to shape you into who you are today! 🎉

🗣 May is Mental Health Awareness Month!

📣 Talk nice to yourself! Did you know that positive self-talk will help heal your brain? Yep that's right! It helps to heal your neuropathways and synapses.

How you talk to yourself will also impact how you see the world, see others and how you navigate the world. Your self-talk will impact your relationships either positively or negatively.

So start every day with affirmations and positive self-talk, it really does make a difference!

"The words of the reckless pierce like swords, but the tongue of the wise brings healing". Proverbs 12:18

🗣 May is Mental Health Awareness Month!

Start your day thanking God because you don't have to do life without him!

God will guide you through the most challenging times if you welcome him in. You don't have to do any of this alone!

If you don't know Jesus as your Lord and Savior but would like to, pray this simple prayer: Jesus, I need you! I am a sinner, I cannot do life without you. I believe you died for my sins and you rose on the 3rd day with all power. I accept you as my Lord and Savior. Thank you Lord for saving me! 🙌🏾 Amen!

Now ask God to direct you to a Bible teaching church and HE will. 🙏🏾
