POV: You’re busy catching everyone else... but who’s catching you? 💛
If you’re already feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or running on empty, you’re not alone. Back-to-school season can be a lot.
As you’re helping everyone else thrive, don’t forget to support your own health.
✨ Functional medicine reminders:
🥩 Build meals around protein, healthy fats, and fiber-rich veggies before carbs to help support steady blood sugar, sustained energy, and mental clarity.
🚶♀️ Keep moving. A 10-minute walk after meals, 1–2 minute “exercise snacks” a few times a day, or even 10 squats every 45 minutes can support healthy glucose regulation.
😴 Protect your sleep. Aim to avoid screens and large meals for about 2 hours before bedtime when possible.
🧘♀️ Pause to breathe. Even a few mindful breaths and a moment of gratitude can help reset your nervous system.
Your health doesn’t need perfection, it needs consistency.
Small habits, practiced every day, can have a powerful impact on your energy, mood, and resilience.
This school year, let’s make health a priority for the whole family... including YOU. 💚
