Exciting news for North Carolina's newest PAs!

NC AHEC is launching an inaugural Primary Care Fellowship Program for Advanced Practice Providers (APP) designed to support PAs and NPs during one of the most important stages of their careers—transitioning from training into practice. The application period is open until September 1st. https://lnkd.in/ePd-TpSm

This unique program will bring together a cohort of early-career PAs for virtual group sessions every other week, providing mentorship, peer support, professional development, and practical guidance as they build confidence in clinical practice.

The fellowship is open to recent PA graduates who have already secured employment in:
- Independent practices
- Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs)
- Community Health Centers
-Local Health Departments
- Rural Health Centers

Strong transition-to-practice programs help strengthen the healthcare workforce, improve retention, and support high-quality patient care—particularly in the communities that need providers most.

Congratulations to NC AHEC on launching this inaugural fellowship and investing in the next generation of PAs. This is an outstanding opportunity for eligible new graduates looking for additional support as they begin their careers.
