**“Am I too young for perimenopause?”**
It's a question more women may be asking themselves than we realize.
Maybe your periods are still regular, but you're not sleeping like you used to.
Your anxious thoughts have increased. Your energy has changed. You're feeling more irritable, overwhelmed, or unlike yourself—and you can't quite explain why.
And when you try to make sense of it, you wonder if you're imagining things or if this is simply what getting older feels like.
But here's something I want you to know: **perimenopause doesn't follow one exact timeline, and it doesn't look the same for every woman.**
Changes in sleep, mood, energy, and other aspects of your well-being can become noticeable even while your periods are still regular.
And you don't have to wait until your symptoms become unbearable to start paying attention. You deserve to have your concerns taken seriously!
This is one reason I believe we need to have conversations about perimenopause earlier—not just when women are struggling to get through the day, but long before they're left wondering what's happening to them.
I've written a new blog post about why perimenopause can begin earlier than you might expect and why looking at the bigger picture matters.
