The Virgo urge to thoroughly examine all 55 possible options… only to circle back to the thing you knew you wanted in the first place. 😂♍️

We like a plan. We notice the details. We think things through. And sometimes we think them through again… just to be sure.

Maybe part of the practice is knowing when we’ve gathered enough information, taking a breath, and trusting ourselves.

Happy Virgo season to my fellow deep thinkers, overthinkers, planners, caretakers, perfectionists-in-recovery, and women learning they don’t have to carry every detail.

Breathe. Create space for what wants to grow. 🌿

Strength.
Movement.
Breath.
A focal point.

We notice when the mind wanders.

And we practice coming back.

Again and again.

Yoga is the journey of the self,
through the self,
to the self.

A practice of finding our way
back to center.

Turns out, quite a few things are kinda chic. ✨

Pranayama Monday 🌿

Sama vritti is an equal, balanced breathing practice, matching the length of the inhale with the length of the exhale.

Sama means equal or even.
Vritti can mean movement, fluctuation or pattern.

Today I paired the breath with the words themselves:

Inhale: sama
Pause.
Exhale: vritti

The words become a simple point of focus for the mind while the breath settles into an even rhythm.

Save this for a day when your mind feels a little noisy. 🤍

Breathe. Create space for what wants to grow. 🌱

☀️ Summer Energy Reset

Sometimes my mind tells me I’m stuck.

So before I overanalyze…
I move.

Before I believe every thought…
I change my physiology.

Before I decide nothing’s working…
I do something that reminds me I’m stronger than I feel.

Today’s reset:
30 minutes.
Music.
Sweat.
Perspective.

Sweat > Spiral. 🚴💙

The dog days of summer have a way of making everything feel a little heavier.

The air. The body. The mind.

This is a tiny breath + mudra practice for those moments.

Close your eyes. Bring your attention inward.

Inhale and imagine fresh, revitalizing energy moving in.

Exhale and let it diffuse through your body, your mind, and the space around you.

Nothing complicated. Just a few intentional breaths and a moment to come back to yourself.

Save this for a hot afternoon when you need a little space to breathe. 🌿

“You never notice what’s keeping you balanced until you realize you’re not standing straight anymore.”

That line stopped me in my tracks.

I’m currently reading Glow, Book 4 of the Plated Prisoner series by Raven Kennedy, and the writing is beautiful. This quote felt true in more ways than one.

A gentle invitation to notice what’s quietly been holding you all along.

🤍 Breathe. Create space for what wants to grow.

When you have a friend who’s spiritual and gangster… 😂

It’s me. I’m that friend. 😉

Just out here trying to lighten things up today. Don’t forget to sprinkle a little play into your day. 🤍

Feeling salty? Try this. 🌎🤍

Some days it feels like every system in life springs a leak at the same time.

The house needs something.
Your body needs something.
The people you love need something.
The to-do list keeps growing.

When I notice myself getting agitated or overwhelmed, I don’t try to force myself to “be positive.”

Instead, I pause.

I take one slow breath (today it’s a gentle lip flutter exhale), then I imagine rising above my house…my neighborhood…my town…my state…until I’m looking at our tiny blue planet floating in the vastness of space.

On that little blue dot are billions of people.

Every one of us is carrying something.
Every one of us is navigating this beautifully messy human life.

That perspective doesn’t remove responsibility.

It changes the energy you bring back to it.

The list is usually still there.

But I’m different.

And that changes everything.

If you’re feeling a little salty today…

Take one slow breath.

You don’t have to solve your whole life before bedtime.

Just take the next kind step.

🌎🤍

Breathe. Create space for what wants to grow.

Summer Solstice 🌞

The solstice is a gentle invitation to pause long enough to notice what is already flourishing.

This season has taught me that growth isn’t always adding something new. Sometimes it’s creating space. Setting boundaries. Trusting what you’ve planted. Letting go of carrying what was never yours to hold.

Tonight, I’m taking a moment to honor what has grown, welcome what is emerging, and release what no longer requires my effort.

What has grown in your life this season?

✨ Breathe. Create space for what wants to grow.
