As an infant, Hayden Bancroft was diagnosed with a neurological disorder and a genetic disorder.

He's worked with our pediatric therapy team since he was a few months old, and now, at six years old, he's only getting stronger.

“He loves to be included. He loves to interact. He loves golf, baseball, and basketball. He likes to do it all. We're so thankful for the GOPEDS team. We're really blessed in this community to have the resources we have, which have really helped him progress, grow, and make Hayden - Hayden,” said Michelle Bancroft, Hayden’s mom.

After a difficult delivery, baby Camryn experienced a stroke and was taken to the NICU—leaving her parents unsure of what the future would hold.

At just six months old, Camryn began physical therapy at MercyOne. From those very first visits, her care team became more than therapists—they became part of her family.

Now 10 years old, Camryn continues to work hard in physical and occupational therapy, building strength, independence and confidence every step of the way. From learning to roller skate and ride a bike to taking on everyday tasks on her own, she continues to reach goal after goal. “She’s come so far,” her mom shared.
