A FUN & SAFE environment for your child to see "the Doctor"... The Pediatric Clinic is located in Arlington, TN. Being sick is no fun. Getting poked is not fun.

But, as a parent you need to do the right thing and get them care, even when you hate it. Our experienced providers and staff will treat your child, and make the visit fun! Dr. Lisa Powell, DNP, FNP, has nearly 10 years of experience in the emergency room and advanced training in a pediatric clinic. Our amazing staff has many years of experience in pediatrics. Heather Vandicer, MSN, FNP graduated

from the University of Memphis with her Masters in Nursing and is a board certified nurse practitioner. As an emergency room nurse for over 10 years, Heather is an excellent addition to our team. She also works in the emergency department as a nurse practitioner

My child is sick, and so am I! When your child is sick, and you catch it too, we can see both of you! We save you a trip to another doctor, and you can all go home and rest. At The Pediatric Clinic, KIDS are at the heart of everything we do. Please respect our providers by not sending them messages through Facebook asking medical questions. We are not permitted to respond. If you have an emergency and need to speak to the on call provider for an emergency, please call the office number at 901-317-7958. The service will send us a message and we will call you back promptly.

📢 Holiday Closure Notice 📢
In observance of Labor Day, our clinic will be closed next Monday, September 7th. We want to give our amazing providers and staff a well-deserved break to rest and recharge with their families! Hydration and Heat Prevention
🥤 Keep Chasing the Hydration Goal! Kids get so caught up having fun that they often forget to drink water until they are already dehydrated. In this sticky humidity, staying ahead of thirst is essential.

Schedule mandatory water breaks every 20 minutes during outdoor play.

Avoid sugary sodas and caffeinated drinks, which can cause fluids to leave the body faster.

Fun tip: Try freezing fresh fruit chunks inside ice cubes to make drinking water an exciting game!

True story from the clinic hallway this morning: One of our favorite toddlers looked up at us and very seriously asked, "Do you live in this building or do you sleep in the cabinets?" 😂 It made us laugh out loud, but it also reminded us how much we love being a constant, familiar place for your family. Playground Surface Safety
🛝 Watch Out for Scorching Playgrounds! Playground equipment like metal slides, plastic swings, and dark rubber mats can absorb intense heat from the midday sun and cause severe skin burns.

Always do a quick touch-test with the back of your hand before letting your kids play. If it feels hot to you, it's way too hot for their sensitive skin!

Make sure kids wear closed-toe shoes to protect their feet from scorching mulch or asphalt.
