Your muscles aren't tight because they need more stretching.
They're tight because your nervous system doesn't trust the movement.
Read that again.
Most people feel stiffness and immediately grab a stretch.
It feels good for a few minutes...
Then the tightness comes right back.
Why?
Because "tight" is often a protective response, not the actual problem.
When your joints don't move well, your fascia loses its ability to glide, or your body senses instability, your brain turns up muscle tension to protect you.
It's not trying to make your life miserable.
It's trying to keep you safe.
That's why I spend far less time chasing flexibility and far more time improving how the body moves.
✅ Restore joint motion.
✅ Improve tissue quality.
✅ Build strength and control through new ranges.
✅ Teach your nervous system that movement is safe again.
When you change the input, you change the output.
The goal isn't to become a human rubber band.
The goal is to build a body that moves well, feels strong, and no longer needs to create unnecessary tension.
Stop asking,
"What should I stretch?"
Start asking,
"Why does my body feel the need to protect this area in the first place?"
That's where lasting change begins.
👇 Have you ever stretched something every day... only to have it feel tight again an hour later?
Tell me where it is, and I'll explain what might actually be happening.
