I'm very proud of our entire team of authors as this paper is truly the first of its kind. I know you can read and summarize but allow me:
1. Prospective consecutive case series of Chronic Non-specific Neck Pain - 570 patients treated with a multi-modal program including cervical extension traction with the Denneroll.
2. We varied frequency and duration of the traction over 4-10 weeks and 3-6 times per week.
3. Outcomes were cervical ARA c2-c7, NDI, and NRS looking at what patient variables and treatment variables predict change in lordosis, NDI and NRS.
4. Curves were included from 0 degrees to less than 20 degrees lordosis with excluding kyphosis to obtain a more homogenous sample of curves.--
5. Patient age, compliance to program (% of missed appointments), frequency and duration were the important predictors of Curve change, NDI, and NRS. and then under each separate outcome there were separate influences.
6. Over 80% of patients achieved the MCID on the NDI post treatment--- No ONE has reported this amount of MCID percentage prior with conservative care in such a large population. THIS IS HUGE!
7. Nearly 97% of patients achieved the MCID on the NRS post treatment--- Again No ONE has found such a great NRS response using the MCID. THIS IS HUGE!
8. Initial amount and correction of the neck curve correlates to both improvement in the NDI and NRS as this is an influencing variable.
Treatment Frequency and Duration play large roles in improving the lordosis, NDI, and NRS and 6 x per week over 10 weeks yields the greatest improvements, while, in contrast, 3 x per week over 4 weeks yields the least improvement in outcomes--- Machine learning model predicts this.

Our Editorial has just hit the press at the Journal of Clinical Medicine (the JCM). This Editorial was authored by myself, Dr. Paul Oakley, and Professor Ibrahim Moustafa.
We are extremely proud of this Editorial as it is the perfect lead in article to the Special Issue on Spine Rehabilitation that we had the honor of Guest Editing for the JCM.
There is a movement in the clinical literature on chronic pain treatment and management to minimize the Bio (Biologic and Biomechanics) component of the 'Bio-Psycho-Social' model of chronic pain. This seems extremely odd and short sighted in my opinion, so we decided to use this as a presentation of discussion in this Editorial.
