Want an example of a rock… ?This guy!! I couldn’t do life without him. Truthfully! Our arguments (better yet my intended promises) consist of me saying, “no, I don’t need help,” or “I will only be 30 min until we leave,” or “I just want to stay in tonight…” Yet, he’s incredibly patient because he has dialed in my exact timing (knowing when we actually leave) or wants, which are (unfortunately) the exact opposite of those examples.
He knows me. I know him.
This weekend especially though (2 weeks truthfully)…. he gets a ton of brownie points. I told him months prior, he didn’t need to help me with a big event I was putting on. I had it. He agreed- you got it! Yet, almost every day, he was there helping me. He didn’t ask me what to do, when to come, never finished with an, “I told you so”, or me coming home to a tit-for-tat (aka: you owe me) mentality, and met me with a cuddle in bed when I was beat. Thank you “Sergio”! Love you! (Can you write that down?) lol
