💉 Flu Shot: Is It Really Necessary Every Year?

The answer is yes—for most children 6 months and older. 💙

The flu vaccine may not prevent every infection, but it can help reduce the risk of flu, serious illness, and hospitalization.

And remember: the flu shot cannot give your child the flu.

🎒 Is your child’s backpack too heavy?
Aim for about 10 percent of their body weight. For a 70 pound child, roughly 7 pounds.
The simplest test: if they lean forward to walk with it, it’s too heavy. Swipe for the rest. 💙
