As promised in the last newsletter: The journey of Bready Mercury and Doughly Parton (breads that rock)! 🍞 If you didn’t know, we have a sourdough section at aura where you can find kits and starter dough and cookbooks, etc.

The sourdough journey is going so well! I was a little afraid to post when I started in case I screwed up…(and even if I did, it would have been ok) but I got nervous nonetheless. But to my surprise, it’s been pretty smooth sailing and each bake gets a little bit better and I learn a little bit more each day.

As you can see, Bready and Doughly had twins today! Also, it became a bit too much to take care of both Rock Stars…so I combined them into one starter. We now have a tribute to my mentor and sourdough master, Jacky, our incredible esthetician and baker extraordinaire! I’d like to introduce you to (drumroll please)… The Grateful Bread! 🥖 💕🪩🎸
