We felt this called for a celebration: 20 years ago this month we opened our doors and created a new community for seniors next to the East Greenbush Community Library and YMCA! To all those who've made the journey such fun...thank you!

Eddy Hawthorne Ridge Staff Appreciation, Hawaiian Style! We turned up the tropical vibes with delicious food (ice cream and hot dog rolls donated by our friends at Stewarts), fun games, raffles, T-shirts, mugs, and pina coladas, of course! We even had Joan Langan, an independent living resident, teach us how to properly hula.

Assisted Living Resident Irma Newman's granddaughter, Sarah M. Newman - Mariko performed a concert for our residents. She is so incredibly talented, and the residents truly enjoyed her wonderful performance!

We had so much fun playing against our sister community in our annual staff kickball game. All had fun, and we're happy to report we took home the trophy for the second year in a row...but who's counting?! Our residents happily cheered from the sidelines, and both teams cooled off in the bistro with lunch and awards.

A love for art has always been a driving force for Independent Living Residents Eve Halloran and Frank Francis. Recently, they devised a plan to create an art gallery space in the community for all to enjoy.
