🌻 Kindness in Bloom at the Goddard Park Farmers Market 🌻

What a wonderful day for our Kindness in Bloom micro-business at the Farmers Market!🤩

One of the greatest lessons our community learned was the power of taking ownership. They took responsibility for creating products, setting up the booth, engaging with customers, handling sales, and representing their business with confidence. 👏

We are incredibly proud of how these young entrepreneurs stepped up, supported one another, and demonstrated responsibility, initiate, and teamwork. 🙌🏻

The Farmers Market was about much more than selling products—it was about building confidence, developing real-world math, marketing, business skills, and discovering what is possible when young people are given the opportunity to lead. ☀️

We want to thank Keith Ranaldi, Director of the URI Innovation Lab for all of his support and assistance in making our products. 🙌🏻 He and his team at The URI Maker Space taught all of us the sublimation process, and how to use all of the maker space equipment to create and personalize a variety of products.

🌻 Support Our Student-Led Micro Business at the Goddard Park Farmers Market this Friday from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM🌻

We are excited to share that our student entrepreneurs from Kindness in Bloom, a micro business created through The Children’s Wellness Learning Collaborative, will be participating in the Goddard Park Farmers Market this Friday!

Our students have worked hard to design, create, problem-solve, market their products, and learn what it takes to run a business from start to finish. Through this hands-on experience, they are building confidence, creativity, teamwork, financial literacy, and real-world entrepreneurial skills.

If you’re at the market, please stop by to say hello, encourage our young business owners, and see the amazing products they have created. Your support means so much and helps inspire the next generation of innovators and community leaders. We are incredibly proud of their hard work, and dedication! ☀️👏

Our learning community’s Star Wars Cantina Café project was truly out of this world! ✨🚀

Our team of budding restaurateurs brainstormed the cafe theme, negotiated the name and menu items, taste tested and voted for desserts, designed the welcome
signs and floral centerpieces, set up the space, hosted, and served the food they prepared for their families. They poured so much imagination, effort, and enthusiasm into every detail of this project. Watching them collaborate, create, and take ownership of their vision was incredible. 👏

This project was about so much more than a themed café — it was hands-on learning, creativity, communication, leadership, and confidence-building all woven together in such a meaningful and memorable way. The pride they felt seeing everything come together was well deserved. 🎉

We are so proud of the investment and creativity each child brought to this galactic experience. May the Force be with these amazing young creators always. 🌟

Our learning community has been hard at work planning something exciting….🌟 The Star Wars Cantina, Café Project.

We warmly invite our families to join us Wednesday May 27th for an Intergalactic Luncheon at 1 PM.

From collaborative brainstorming of designs for the theme, cafe name, menu items and 💵 prices, to creating personalized menu 📔covers and cafe 🎈decor, students are combining their imagination with real-world 🧾learning in meaningful ways. This project has encouraged teamwork, communication, ✏️creativity, and entrepreneurial thinking while bringing a little galactic fun into our environment. 💫

We love watching our community members take ownership of their ideas, work together as a team, and transform inspiration into something truly memorable. The force is definitely strong with this group. ✨🚀🌟

“May the 4th Be With You Celebration”🌟✨

At the Children’s Wellness Learning Collaborative, we know that some of the greatest superpowers are kindness, empathy, resilience, teamwork, and courage.

Our learners are exploring important social emotional lessons inspired by the idea that true strength comes from how we treat others, work through challenges, and use our voices for good. 💫

From practicing positive communication and problem-solving to learning how to be upstanders and supportive friends, our students are discovering that every child has the power to make a difference.

Because just like in every great adventure…
the force of compassion, connection, and community is always stronger together. 🌎💛

What an inspiring day for our Kindness in Bloom Micro Business team at the University of Rhode Island Maker Space! 🌿✨We worked on developing banners with our micro business logo printed on it. The Kindness in Bloom name was chosen by our community and our new logo which combines our program logo with the art work from one of our students. 👏🙌🏻

Our learners had the incredible opportunity to explore creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship in such a hands-on and inspiring environment. Experiences like these help bring our project-based learning to life while encouraging confidence, collaboration, and big ideas.

A heartfelt thank you to our educators, and to Keith Ranaldi and Cyrus at The URI Innovation Lab for your generous assistance, encouragement, and support throughout our visit. Your time, guidance, and enthusiasm made the experience truly meaningful for our students.

We are so grateful for community partnerships that nurture creativity, kindness, and innovation in our young entrepreneurs. 🪴💡
