What a wonderful afternoon at Anchor Bay at Greenwich! 🎶☀️

After enjoying a delicious Father’s Day barbecue, our residents, families, and team members gathered for an afternoon of live music, laughter, and dancing. It was amazing to see everyone coming together, making memories, and celebrating the special fathers and father figures in our community.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so memorable. We love creating moments like these that bring joy, connection, and fun to our residents’ lives. ❤️

Our residents had a fantastic time visiting the Carolina Trout Hatchery and learning to fish with Sean Martin, Aquatic Resource Education and Hunter Education Technician from the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management, Division of Fish & Wildlife.

Thank you, Sean, for sharing your knowledge and helping create such a fun and educational experience for our residents!

🦋 A beautiful day of discovery learning! 🦋

Our residents had the joy of witnessing one of nature's most remarkable transformations as we watched our caterpillars grow, form their chrysalises, and emerge as beautiful butterflies ready for their release.

Ingrid Larson, shared a poem about the Native American reflection and symbolism of the butterfly. Her words reminded us of transformation, hope, renewal, and the beauty of life's journey.

Did you know? Our Monthly Book Club Luncheon for residents features a book in a bag from the East Greenwich Public Library?

Last month's book was 'Georgia' by Georgia O'Keefe 🌸🌺.

The Book Club Divas read the award-winning 'Remarkably Bright Creatures' and we screened the movie in our theater for 24 residents!

Next month, we will read 'The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks' 📚🧬, paired with the film starring Oprah Winfrey.
