Real Patient. Real Results.
After her tongue-tie release, our patient noticed improvements that went far beyond her tongue mobility.

✨ Less TMJ discomfort
✨ Better tongue posture at rest
✨ More restful sleep

Every patient’s experience is unique, but when the tongue can move and function as intended, it can have a meaningful impact on breathing, oral function, and overall quality of life.

If you’ve been struggling with TMJ symptoms, poor tongue posture, or sleep concerns, a comprehensive evaluation may help identify whether a tongue-tie is part of the picture.

Did you know that a night guard is not the same as an oral appliance for sleep apnea?
A traditional night guard is designed to protect your teeth from grinding (bruxism). It is not intended to treat obstructive sleep apnea.

In some cases, wearing a standard night guard may even make sleep apnea symptoms worse because it doesn’t address the airway—and may affect jaw or tongue position during sleep.

If you snore, wake up tired, or have been diagnosed with sleep apnea, don’t assume a night guard is the right solution. A custom oral appliance prescribed for sleep apnea is specifically designed to help keep your airway open while you sleep.

The right diagnosis leads to the right treatment. 💤🦷

Many children are treated for ADHD, anxiety or depression without addressing an underlying cause: sleep disordered breathing

Before starting or adding medications, consider asking: Could poor sleep be contributing to these symptoms?

A comprehensive evaluation by a sleep medicine specialist and an orthodontist trained in airway focused care may help identify underlying issues that deserve attention.

Every child is different, but a second opinion can provide valuable insight and help families make informed decisions about treatment.

Sometimes the symptoms show up as:

•Daytime fatigue
•Headaches
•Teeth grinding
•Poor sleep quality
•Mouth breathing
