Saying no to alcohol doesn’t have to be a whole conversation. Grab a soda or water when you walk in. If you have a full cup, you can say you already have a drink if you’re offered one. Nobody needs to know what’s inside.

Decir no al alcohol no tiene que significar toda una conversación. Agarra una soda o agua cuando llegues. Si tienes el vaso lleno, puedes decir que ya tienes algo para tomar si alguien te ofrece. Nadie necesita saber qué hay adentro.

Hosting a prom after-party for your teen? Connecticut’s Social Host Law makes you legally responsible for any alcohol or cannabis consumed by minors on your property, whether you’re home or not. That’s a Class A misdemeanor. If you serve alcohol or cannabis directly, you face additional fines and potential jail time. Protect everyone and lock your liquor and cannabis.
