Something I tell my supervisees often:
You don’t always have to have the perfect intervention to retain or help your clients.

You do need to be:
• present
• attuned
• authentic

The pressure to “do it right” can actually pull you out of the room and away from connection.

We can always refine skills. Focus first on building rapport and safety.
