Michigan State University's Sexual Assault Healthcare Program (SAHP) is seeking Nurses to join our team and receive training and support to become a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE).

In this role, you'll provide trauma-informed care to sexual assault patients, including medical forensic exams, preventative treatment, referrals, support, and participation in legal proceedings when
needed.
SAHP provides critical services 24/7, 365 days per year.

These positions are ideal for experienced Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (SANEs) who want flexible, as-needed shifts while providing critical, trauma-informed care to survivors.

As a per diem member of our team, you'll provide medical forensic exams, patient support, referrals, follow-up care, and advocacy for sexual assault patients through a program that operates 24/7, 365 days a year. Variable hours include overnight coverage based on program needs.

We are looking to hire more SANEs! Not SANE trained but still interested, no worries. We are willing to train nurses who are interested in providing trauma informed patient centered care to patients who have recently experienced sexual assault.

is temporarily modifying hours of operation to
