Explora el poder de las voces e historias latinas para romper el estigma sobre la discapacidad y crear comunidades más inclusivas.

La discapacidad puede verse y vivirse de diferentes maneras según la cultura. En muchas comunidades latinas, las expectativas familiares, las creencias culturales y los mensajes que recibimos de la sociedad pueden, en ocasiones, generar sentimientos de vergüenza o estigma en torno a la discapacidad.

Acompáñenos a esta capacitación interactiva centrada en las voces y experiencias de la comunidad latina. Juntos exploraremos el poder de compartir nuestras historias y de usar nuestra voz para hablar abiertamente sobre la discapacidad. Las personas participantes aprenderán cómo la narrativa personal puede desafiar los estereotipos, celebrar las experiencias vividas y contribuir a la creación de comunidades más inclusivas, donde las personas con discapacidad se sientan valoradas, conectadas y bienvenidas.

We are looking for someone who closes loops: takes direction, carries it through, keeps track of what an organization our size commits to, and gets it finished.

The role runs our internal systems, supervises director-level staff, administers our fee-for-service program, and carries disability-related projects and trainings directly.

Full-time and onsite in East Lansing, 40 hours a week, with the possibility of up to one remote day a week. You need to live in Michigan.

$80,000 to $92,000 and amazing benefits. Medical, dental, and vision start on day one (vision and dental free, medical extremely low cost) , along with 208 hours of PTO yearly and additional accrual bi-weekly, 14 paid holidays, 403(b) match, and paid parental leave.
