School spirit had no age limit as residents teamed up with students from Troy Christian and Miami East for a game day celebration that put connection between generations at the top of the scoreboard. 🏈💙✨

Adventure took flight for StoryPoint Grand Rapids West! 🙌 Residents strapped into harnesses and soared through the trees during their second annual ziplining trip to Muskegon Luge.

With milestone birthdays from 91 to 103 represented, this group gave “age is just a number” a whole new altitude. Cheers from staff and family members kept the excitement on a high note with every launch. 🚀💛✨

StoryPoint Independence residents had their fall sightseeing covered! A covered bridge tour took them out into the community to explore nearby landmarks and give their fall adventures a scenic twist. 🍁❤️✨

After years of waiting, Don, a Vietnam War veteran and resident of StoryPoint Middletown, had the opportunity to take part in the Bluegrass Honor Flight. 🎖️✈️ With his best friend beside him, he traveled to Washington, D.C., for a special journey recognizing his military service, visiting memorials dedicated to those who served and sharing the experience with fellow Vietnam veterans.

Residents welcomed him home with American flags and heartfelt appreciation for his service. It was a proud moment for the community to celebrate a cherished resident and share in an experience that meant so much to him. 🇺🇸❤️✨

Our communities celebrated Healthcare Food Service Workers Week by recognizing the culinary team members who do so much more than prepare meals. They build relationships, bring smiles to residents’ faces and make a difference every day.

🌿 Resident Spotlight: Marsha 🌿

Marsha is someone who always has a wonderful story to share! She finds joy in watching the birds, admiring beautiful plants, and spending time with her many children and grandchildren, who hold such a special place in her heart. ❤️

Marsha and her husband, Bill, shared a love for adventure and making memories together. After meeting in the early 2000s, they enjoyed taking bus trips and exploring new places along the way. These special memories are just a few of the many wonderful stories Marsha carries with her.

You can often find Marsha relaxing in the atrium, chatting with staff and sharing a story or two. Her stories, laughter, and warm personality are truly cherished by our team. We always look forward to seeing Marsha, catching up, and hearing what story she has to share next! 💕

🌊 StoryPoint Hixson North residents made waves with their fall plans, taking to the Tennessee River for an afternoon aboard the Southern Belle, with a birthday girl along for the ride! 🎉💙✨

Discovery was on deck as StoryPoint Chesterfield residents toured the iconic Boblo Boat and explored its place in Detroit history. 🚢🚢 These steamships once transported families to Boblo Island’s amusement park, and the visit gave residents a chance to learn more about the boats while swapping stories of summers spent on the island. ⚓️🩵✨

🎶🌮 Fiesta Karaoke Night was one to remember! 🌮🎶

What a night! Our Fiesta-themed Karaoke event was filled with great music, delicious walking tacos, festive drinks, and LOTS of laughter! 🎤🌮🍹

Residents and staff took the microphone and absolutely brought their A-game! From classic favorites to some unexpected performances, we discovered that StoryPoint is home to some seriously talented singers! 👏🎶

There was plenty of singing, cheering, dancing, and margarita sipping as everyone came together for a night full of friendship and Fiesta fun. ❤️

A HUGE thank-you to everyone who grabbed the microphone and helped make the night so much fun! These are the moments that make StoryPoint feel like home. 💃🎤✨

🌺🌿 A Day at Frederik Meijer Gardens! 🌿🌺

We had such a beautiful day exploring Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park in Grand Rapids! From colorful blooms and peaceful gardens to incredible sculptures and gorgeous scenery, there was something beautiful around every corner. 🌸🪻🦋

Our StoryPoint residents enjoyed soaking up the sunshine, taking in the sights, sharing lots of laughs, and of course, capturing plenty of photo-worthy moments along the way! 📸☀️

It was the perfect day to get out, explore, and enjoy time together. ❤️

Our newest (and cutest!) shuttle driver was ready to hit the road and make sure everyone got where they needed to go! 🐶💨
