Splish, splash & a whole lotta summer memories.
There’s something about summertime that makes the simplest days feel a little more special.
Today was filled with sunshine, laughter, plenty of splashing, snow cones, a we**ie roast, and of course, S’mores. There was a little bit of chaos, a lot of smiles, and definitely water everywhere.
But somewhere between the laughter, the warm sunshine, the smell of food cooking, the sweetness of a snow cone, and the marshmallows roasting, it became more than just another summer afternoon.
It became a memory.
The kind of memory that might seem small to someone else, but means so much to the people who were there. The kind that brings back feelings of summers past, being outside, enjoying good food, laughing with friends, and not having anywhere else you need to be.
We weren’t just roasting marshmallows. We were creating one more sweet memory to tuck away and carry with us.
Because sometimes the best memories aren’t made during the biggest celebrations. They happen during the silly, messy, ordinary moments when everyone is simply enjoying being together.
Today was a little silly. A little messy. A little unexpected.
And honestly, it was perfect.
