Hands-on Structural and Nervous System Reset.
Craniosacral, myofascial, and bodywork techniques combined and applied through a Chinese medicine lens.

My unique approach combines several hands-on modalities into one cohesive flow—orchestrating orthopedics, osteopathy and myofascial work into a deeply relaxing yet powerfully healing experience.

I’m working with your fascia, skeletal alignment and your nervous system directly; think of it as a deep mobility + nervous system reset, yet targeted to your individual needs through a Chinese medicine diagnostic framework.

Many of my patients aren’t even aware that I treat acute injuries on top of chronic pain and everything else that I do. The power of Chinese medicine can seem almost magical at times…

This case is from a few years ago but definitely worth sharing.

18yr old went up for a jump in a volleyball game and came down on top of another player standing beneath him. He badly rolled his ankle and suffered an avulsion fracture of the distal fibular head. Ortho advice was just RICE, NSAIDS and a boot. The orthopedist told him his season was over…

His parents brought him to me within 12hrs of the incident (after getting an x-ray).

We did an application of Die Da Jiu (trauma lineament), estim acupuncture, lanced around the avulsion site and sent him home with herbal topicals and internal medicine for immediately after his session as well as for next steps to further reduce swelling. Trauma medicine in my training is very tailored to specific stages of healing. As such, I gave the patient several different iterations of topical herbs and soaks for each respective phase as his healing progressed.

The patient returned 4 days post avulsion and the improvement was pronounced (see second pic above). By day 4 I was able to help realign his ankle and foot. He was very compliant in hopes to still be able to participate in games that season as he was a graduating HS senior.

Most of the yellow staining is from the Qiang Li Jin but some is also the edema and bruising moving out.

I love our medicine, amazing healing in only 4 days!! Only 4 days and he had ZERO pain with full ROM in rotation but was still not allowed to weight bear on the foot for another 3 days.

By day 7, he was already doing slow strengthening and stability exercises. Incredibly, he was able to finish the season 🏆

I’ve known this gentleman for many years—a Navy veteran and retired police officer, who shares amazing stories with me and always helps make his sessions fun for the both of us.

It is a unique and special privilege when a centenarian chooses to visit your office for pain relief and mobility support. 🙏

No matter what the alphabet soup is after someone’s name that’s performing “dry needling”, “intramuscular manual therapy” or “trigger point needling” it’s the same exact filiform needle that is used in acupuncture. They can rename it whatever they like, but it’s still acupuncture.

The main difference when it’s performed by a Licensed Acupuncturist (LAc), is thousands of hours of training with that exact tool.

Acupuncture needles are best wielded by those most trained with them. Always opt for a licensed acupuncturist (LAc).

When a physical therapist inserts a solid filiform needle into a trigger point and calls it “intramuscular manual therapy,” the instrument is the same FDA Class II device an acupuncturist trains for years to use. The skin parts the same way. The tissue responds the same way. What changes is the ...

Asian/ Oriental Medicine (AOM) has long been a proponent of wellness through lifestyle habits such as: balanced nutrition, mindful movement and emotional harmony. Too much time indoors, under artificial light, staring at a screen and away from the elements, is unhealthy for our mind as well as our body.

Whether it’s sunny and beautiful outside or cloudy and grey, it’s important to spend time outdoors and immerse oneself in Nature.

Kaisuiyoku (海水浴): The Japanese practice of immersing oneself in the sea. “Kai” means sea, “sui” means water, and “yoku” means bath, it focuses on the therapeutic benefits of the saltwater and sea air.

Brainwave Shift: The rhythmic sound of ocean waves naturally pulls the brain into a meditative theta state, inducing deep relaxation.

Chemical Boost: Breathing in sea air charged with negative ions can help elevate mood and accelerate your ability to absorb oxygen.

Even though today wasn’t warm enough to swim and it was buggy and humid out, I try to Kaisuiyoku as often as possible.

Good for the mind, body and soul.

Lola enjoyed it too! 🐶

The image shown here is from the work of Thomas Myers, a gifted anatomist. The connection between biomechanics as shown by Myers and the broader field of mechanical tissue transduction, shown by Helene Langevin the Director of NCCIH at NIH and former director of Harvard’s Osher Center for Integrative Medicine, demonstrates that a needle isn’t just a local stimulant but a mechanical input that fibroblasts physically sense and respond to, triggering a signaling cascade that ripples through the same connective sheet Myers mapped and Chinese medicine has focused on for thousands of years.

This is why a well-placed point far from the site of pain can still resolve it; we are not treating the symptom but rather tuning a string that runs the whole line, and the tissue itself has the cellular machinery to answer the request.
