This weekend we hosted our Back To School Bash with face painting and pony rides, while getting our patients ready for school with physicals, immunizations and hearing and vision exams. Thank you to all of our patients who came out and thank you to Reach Out and Read Georgia for coming to give our summer reading activity kits and talk with our patients about the importance of early literacy. We are wishing all of our patients have a great school year! 📚✏️🚌

School countdown is on and we want to celebrate with our patients! We Care is hosting our Back to School Health Fair July 25th. If your child needs vaccines, sports physicals or forms for school, please call us to make an appointment. All patients are welcome to participate in fun activities including face painting and horseback riding. Come get ready for back to school with us!

We Care would like to welcome our new pediatrician, Dr. Alana Burns! Many of our patients have already seen Dr. Burns, who started a few months ago, and have loved their visits with her. Dr. Burns comes to us with experience in the metro Atlanta area. She is a native of Atlanta and completed her pediatric residency at Emory University, working at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. We are so happy to have Dr. Burns join our team! 🎉🎉

Happy National Black Women’s Physician Day to our mother-daughter physician leaders, Dr. Kendall and Dr. Bush.

Today we celebrate the brilliance and impact of Black women physicians—past, present, and future. From breaking barriers to changing lives, dedication to healing, advocacy, and excellence continues to shape medicine and inspire generations.

During black history month and on her birthday, we honor pioneers like Dr. Rebecca Lee Crumpler, the first African-American physician.

Due to weather and potential road conditions, we are closed tomorrow, Monday, January 26th. Our nurse triage line will still be available for emergencies. The phone number is available on our website and through our main phone number. We expect to reopen Tuesday. All appointments tomorrow will be rescheduled, and we are opening availability later this week to accmodate patients. We hope everyone stays warm and safe!
