The first PI-ROD in the world was implanted by Dr. Micah Smith at , Fort Wayne, IN.

When selecting the first surgery, I was insistent on Dr. Smith and his team for many reasons including their amazing technical skills, and elite level of care at . I also wanted Fort Wayne to be the town as a tribute to my first American home and first stop in my journey to the US.

Although I am passionate about spinal reconstructions and major surgeries but I truly believe most of back pain issues that millions of people around the world suffer from can be treated without invasive surgeries.

Introducing a technology that I brought to Rhode Island about a year ago and proven to help so many patients that otherwise would have been surgical candidates.

A year later Pam is doing absolutely phenomenal. Major reconstruction of her spine went uneventful, she is back safely to her family and active social life.

Revision spinal reconstruction can be overwhelming for patients. Flatbacks and failed spine surgeries are my specialty and passion. I am happy to see any patient in the country for free as a consultation provided they do our standard workup before the virtual or in-person visit.
