Since opening with two staff members in 1957, The Center has been Reaching Out to Help our neighbors in need. Each time a new need has been uncovered in the community, we have worked to discover a way to meet them. Over the year we've grown to 24 programs and a staff of about 175! Thursday our staff and board gathered to celebrate the tenure of Mr. Joseph Harper (center) as our executive director. Under his leadership The Center has grown and thrived, adding many new services never available in East St. Louis before!
