🌿✨ Our August Newsletter just dropped!

In this newsletter, we’re revisiting resources that explore emotional exhaustion, reconnection, and the importance of creating space for your own needs. 🤔What to Expect in Your First Therapy Session

Taking that first step toward therapy can feel both empowering and a little nerve-wracking — and that is completely normal! At Passages, our goal is to make you feel safe, seen, and supported from the moment you walk in.

Here’s what you can expect from our therapists:

✨ A Warm Welcome – Your therapist will greet you and help you settle in, whether in person or virtually.
✨ Getting to Know You – We’ll talk about what brought you here, your hopes for therapy, and any concerns you may have.
✨ Your Story, at Your Pace – You decide what to share. There’s no pressure to tell everything at once.
✨ Collaboration – Together, we’ll begin creating a plan tailored to your needs and goals.
✨ A Safe Space – Judgment-free, compassionate, and focused entirely on you.

💬 Remember: The first session is simply the beginning of a relationship built on trust. It’s okay to feel nervous — your therapist is here to walk alongside you, not ahead of you.

You’re not just starting therapy. You’re starting a journey toward healing, growth, and self-discovery. 💖

⏳💡 5 Time Management Tips for Women with ADHD 💡⏳

Living with ADHD can make time feel like it’s running in fast-forward or slow motion — sometimes both in the same day! These simple strategies can help you feel more grounded, organized, and in control of your schedule.

✨ 1. Use Timers
Seeing time pass can make it easier to stay on track, whether it’s a colorful kitchen timer, your watch or an app with a countdown on your phone.

✨ 2. Break Tasks into Micro-Steps
Instead of “Clean the kitchen,” start with “Clear the counter.” Little wins add up and reduce overwhelm.

✨ 3. Time-Block Your Day
Schedule specific windows for work, rest, and transitions — and protect them like appointments.

✨ 4. Use External Reminders
Sticky notes, alarms, whiteboards — let your environment carry some of the remembering for you.

✨ 5. Build in Buffer Time
Add extra time between activities so you’re not constantly rushing or feeling behind.

🌸 Remember: Managing time with ADHD isn’t about perfection — it’s about finding systems that work for you. Give yourself grace and celebrate progress, no matter how small.

✨ Your worth isn’t up for debate. ✨

You are not defined by how much you do, how perfectly you perform, or how others perceive you.
Your worth was set the moment you were born — whole, enough, and deserving of love, respect, and joy. 💖

As women, it’s easy to measure ourselves by comparison or external expectations, but the truth is: you are already everything you need to be.

🌿 Today, take a deep breath.
🌿 Speak kindly to yourself.
🌿 Remember: your value is inherent and unshakable.

You are more than your productivity.
You are more than your roles.
You are you — and that is extraordinary. 💫
