Dear Tawas Village Families and Friends,
As we head into the fall season, we want to share a friendly reminder about helping us keep our residents, families, and team members healthy for this upcoming flu season, which thankfully hasn't hit Tawas Village yet!
We absolutely love having families and friends visit Tawas Village. Your visits and involvement are an important part of our community and mean so much to our residents. However, because many of the people who call Tawas Village home can be more vulnerable to illness, we ask that you please postpone your visit if you are feeling sick or experiencing any signs or symptoms of illness.
Please stay home if you are experiencing an elevated temperature or fever, cough, sore throat, congestion, vomiting, diarrhea, body aches, chills, or if you simply aren't feeling well.
Even symptoms that seem mild can have a much greater impact on an older adult. If you're unsure whether you should visit, please give us a call before coming in and we will be happy to help.
We know it can be disappointing to postpone a visit, but staying home when you are not feeling well is one of the simplest and most important ways you can help us protect our residents and one another.
Thank you for being our partners in keeping Tawas Village a safe, healthy, and happy home for our residents. We appreciate your understanding, cooperation, and the continued love and support you show our community.
Warmly,
The Tawas Village Team
