We are a small busy family owned Optical/Optometric office seeking a full-time receptionist, to join our growing practice and team of eye-care professionals.
Responsibilities include:
- Greeting visitors
- Answering phones
- Scheduling appointments
- Collecting payments
· Adhere to Patient Privacy Policies & Procedures (i.e., HIPAA)
· Maintain the cleanliness of workstations and overall facility
· Assisting with additional tasks and responsibilities, as assigned, and required by changing business needs
Job Specifications:
1. High School Graduate
2. Effective team player. With very good interpersonal relationship skills and can work and relate well with co-employees, patients, and customers.
3. Must have behavioral sensitivity, maturity, diplomacy, and tact in addressing complex situations and handling challenging situations with patients/customers.
