As Radiology Technologist Week comes to a close, we happily recognize Team Mammo! Sherri, Maureen, Jess, Soo and Patty do several hundred mammograms a month, but treat each woman as an individual, carefully examining their history. In the words of a patient: "I had such a delightful experience with Windsor Radiology... Sydney was very professional and explained everything that I needed to know and bring for my appointment. I then had Maureen do my testing and she made me feel very comfortable and answered all of my questions. I will definitely return back to Windsor Radiology for any future testing!!

Conducting x-ray, fluoroscopy and DEXA scans is all in a day's work -- and Cecilia, Kristina, Marissa, Michelle and Pam have the experience and skill to get it done. In the words of a patient: "I love this practice! Pam, my technician, was so nice, and asked pertinent questions with regards to the issues I was experiencing. Thank you all."

Happy Rad Tech Week to Team MRI: Chris, Cindy, Steven, Maddie and Brianna! They are experts at ensuring patient safety and comfort, while providing high-quality scans for our radiologists. In the words of a satisfied patient: "I've been going to Windsor Radiology for 3 years now. The last 2 years, when I've gotten an MRI, the tech (Chris) could not be nicer. He listens to my irrational claustrophobic fears and tries his best to calm me. It works and the MRI is done without incident. The entire staff is very nice and accommodating."

To kick off National Radiologic Technologists Week, we honor our CT techs: Cindy and Tina!

As we close out Breast Cancer Awareness Month, remember to stay vigilant all year.

A person’s risk of developing breast cancer can be dependent on both factors that they can and cannot change. Some of these factors include:
- Physical activity
- Age
- Genetic mutation
- Family history
- Having dense breast
- Reproductive history
