Twenty-five years later, they said “I do” all over again! 💍

On September 22, Touchpoints at Chestnut celebrated Mr. and Mrs. Fredrick and Patty Shambo as they renewed their vows in honor of their 25th wedding anniversary, with Stefanie Charlton officiating.

There was even a little nod to their first wedding: Patty was late that day after losing her car keys, so Fredrick was especially happy to see her arrive right on time for round two!

Christopher Fogg took on not one, not two, but three important roles as ring bearer, best man, and DJ, while family and friends from Chestnut gathered to celebrate the happy couple.

Congratulations, Fredrick and Patty, on 25 years! ❤️

What started as a blank canvas became a beautiful reflection of our community. 🎨

As part of National Skilled Nursing Care Week, residents and staff at Touchpoints at Chestnut participated in iCare Health Network’s collaborative art initiative inspired by this year’s theme, “Moments in Bloom.”

Using their own creativity, memories, and ideas, our team transformed a three-foot by three-foot canvas into a personal expression of who we are at Touchpoints at Chestnut. Each detail reflects the thought, care, and heart that went into bringing this piece to life.

We are so proud to have contributed to this meaningful exhibit celebrating creativity, connection, and community across iCare Health Network.

Beauty, blooms, and a little dancing at Touchpoints at Chestnut. 🌸

Residents and staff celebrated National Skilled Nursing Care Week with a Beauty and Bloom Spa Day, created flower bouquets for the outdoor Garden Party Luncheon, and enjoyed music and dancing together.

Residents also worked on their own botanical bloom artwork on canvas, adding a creative touch to a day filled with connection, color, and fun.
