With roses in full bloom right now, "Petal & Perimeter" is a quick meditation when you need to create space between you and another person or situation.
Grounding: "Close your eyes and take a deep breath. Imagine your feet growing roots into the earth, deep and steady like a rose bush in winter, resting and gathering strength."
The Heart Bloom: "Visualize a small rosebud in the center of your chest. With every inhale, see it slowly unfurl. Its color is vibrant, and its scent fills your lungs, clearing away any lingering 'stale' energy from the past year."
The Expanding Shield: "As the rose opens, imagine its petals expanding outward. They grow larger and larger until they form a soft, shimmering sphere around your entire body. This is your 'Rose Shield.'"
Setting the Boundary: "Feel the texture of this shield. It is soft enough to let love and light in, but strong enough to keep out anything that does not serve your highest good. You are encased in a cocoon of grace and protection."
Closing: "Take one last deep breath, smelling the sweetness of the rose. When you are ready, wiggle your fingers and return to the room."
