The Calm Before the Soak

Steel is in process. Systems are taking shape. The structure is moving forward, albeit slowly at times.
Behind the progress is a single goal: to bring back the space where people come to rest, soak, and reset.

Concrete work is nearly complete, and structural steel is now being fabricated and prepared for delivery to the site. These milestones set the stage for the next phase of construction as plans guide each step forward.

A Heartfelt Update and Thank You from East Heaven

Dear Friends of East Heaven,

First and foremost, we want to express our deepest gratitude for your unwavering support during one of the most challenging times in our 44-year history.

As many of you know, a devastating fire significantly impacted our business four years ago. In the wake of that event, your incredible generosity and belief in our mission is helping fuel our plans to rebuild. Your contributions—whether financial, emotional, or simply through kind words and fond memories—mean more than we can ever fully express.

Unfortunately, we must share that the road to reopening has proven far longer and more complicated than we anticipated. Between permitting delays, insurance negotiations, construction setbacks, and supply chain issues, we’ve encountered obstacles at nearly every turn. This has pushed back our timeline much more than any of us had hoped.

We understand that many of you have invested not just money, but trust, into our recovery. Please know we do not take that lightly. Every dollar has been carefully accounted for and directed toward our rebuilding efforts, and we remain 100% committed to reopening our doors as soon as we possibly can—with the same spirit, service, and integrity you’ve known for over four decades.
We will continue to update you regularly, and once we have a confirmed timeline for reopening, you’ll be the first to know. In the meantime, please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or thoughts. Your voice matters deeply to us.

Where Is the New East Heaven?

The new location is at 150 Northampton Street in Easthampton. Save the address and visit us on opening day. More details will be shared as opening day approaches.

The cedar has arrived. The tile is being set. Light is starting to move through the new spaces just the way it should.

There’s still work ahead. But every slow, careful step is part of what makes East Heaven feel like itself.

At East Heaven, every element is designed with care, including health and safety.

Water in each tub will refresh every 12 minutes, exceeding public health standards. Air quality is supported by continuous ventilation, HEPA filtration, and ionizing systems. High-touch surfaces, tubs, and treatment rooms will be thoroughly disinfected throughout the day. All spa-wide products will remain hypoallergenic and gentle on the skin.

As preparations continue, the focus remains on creating a space that restores peace of mind, along with the body.
