Avir at Woodlands is proud to help raise awareness for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s with Purple Donut Day! Our team is showing support and helping spread the word for this year’s Abilene walk on September 26 at Grover Nelson Park.

We went WILD for Fun Friday at Avir at Woodlands! 🦁🌿

Our Wild Safari Day was a spectacular success, with plenty of laughter, creativity, and adventure from start to finish!

A special thank-you to Jessica and Michaela from CSS Hospice for hosting a delicious animal cookie and dip bar. Residents also got creative with fly-swatter painting before taking an unforgettable “zipline” journey through the jungle!

This morning, our residents at Avir at Woodlands enjoyed a special Dolly themed Sittercise session filled with movement, music, and smiles. It was a fun way to honor an icon while keeping everyone active and engaged. The energy in the room made this tribute feel extra memorable.

Our Assisted Living residents enjoyed a special outing to the town of Albany, starting with a visit to our friend Stephanie at the Art Museum.
