We were never meant to fit ourselves into the same mold. 🌻

Just like these flowers, our differences are part of what makes us who we are. When we constantly try to shrink, change, or reshape ourselves to meet society’s expectations, we can lose sight of what makes us unique.

You were never meant to fit into someone else’s vase. 🤍

Your body is the LEAST interesting thing about you.

What’s more important than how you look?
1. How you show up for others
2. The memories that you can make with friends and family
3. Your joyful smile

We hope this post helps to inspire you to focus less on your physical appearance and more on the qualities that make you, you 🙌💚

Health and wellness have become things we're constantly told to buy. A new supplement. A new gadget. A new membership. A new morning routine.
But here's your reminder: some of the most impactful things you can do for your health are completely free.

☀️ Getting outside for fresh air
🚶 Moving your body in ways you enjoy
😴 Prioritizing sleep
💧 Staying hydrated
🫶 Connecting with people you care about
🧘 Taking a few moments to slow down and breathe

If you enjoy workout classes, supplements, or wellness tools, that's great! If they genuinely support your well-being, keep doing what works for you.
This post isn't about saying those things are "bad." It's a reminder that you don't have to outsource your wellness or have a big budget to take care of yourself. Your health isn't determined by how much money you spend on it.

What's one free habit that helps you feel your best? Share it below. 💚

I've seen people online saying they wish they would get Cyclospora because they'd lose weight.

That's diet culture.

Weight lost from severe diarrhea isn't the same as losing body fat. It's largely a result of dehydration, depleted glycogen stores, and not being able to eat enough while you're sick.

Being ill is not a weight loss strategy.
Diet culture has normalized the idea that any weight loss is "good," even when it's caused by illness. But health isn't measured by how much weight you lose because of an infection.

A cyclospora outbreak can feel scary because so many of us eat produce regularly. If you’re still feeling uneasy about cyclospora, there are many ways you can get your fruits and veggies in while being safe until all known sources are confirmed.

As always, contact your doctor if you feel you’ve been infected and stay hydrated!

Here are some of the things that we can do because we FUEL our bodies ⛽️

At Eat Well Collective, we know that we always feel our best when our brains and bodies get enough food. Food is so important to help us make memories, challenge ourselves physically through races or climbing mountains, take care of our kids, and have a clear mind to create and think. The next time you feel like food is the enemy, think about all of the things your body relies on food in order to do. If you’re struggling with this, reach out to us today so we can help you to feel the power of what proper fuel can do!
