We would like to give a huge shout-out to Courtney, one of our most loyal employees!

Courtney brings positive energy to every client she cares for. She has a huge heart and shows compassion and grace in everything she does. Her clients love her and cannot imagine their lives without her.

Over the past ten years, Courtney has proven herself to be trustworthy, loyal and an excellent caregiver. It is amazing to think about how many lives she has touched throughout her caregiving career.

Courtney always has a smile on her face and goes above and beyond for every client. She is soft-spoken, humble and hardworking and we want to recognize the meaningful impact she has made in so many clients' lives.

💙 MEET THE CAREGIVERS 💙 Debbie

Hi my name is Debbie and I am a caregiver for Loving Hands.
After marrying my teenage sweetheart, we raised three children on a beautiful Farm in Dansville Michigan. We had just about every Critter under the sun but our primary focus was Raising and training harness horses which we did for many years. After that my husband and I retired to Northern Michigan which was a blessing. We Enjoyed all the wonderful things that the north has to offer, but sadly that ended in 2001 after the death of my husband. I moved to Big Rapids Michigan where I began my career in caregiving. I loved every minute of it and I believe I really found my niche. I did private care as well as Group Home Care. To be closer to my family I moved back to Southern Michigan where I could be surrounded by my loved ones. Outside of my three children, I have six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. They are the love of my life. I went to work in a nursing home and found that the politics there were crushing. So I applied to work at Loving Hands and it's one of the best decisions I ever made. Once again I'm doing private care for one special gentleman. The agency is wonderful in the way that they pair their workers with their clients. They are so supportive and are there for you anytime you need anything. So that in a nutshell kind of wraps up my 71 years on this Earth. Everyday of my life has been a blessing, and my goal is to be blessing to someone everyday.

💙MEET THE CAREGIVERS💙 Jenna
I learned in high school I wanted to work in the medical field. Originally my plan was to become an anesthesiologist. However life had other plans for me. Fresh out of high school I got my first official job working in an AFC home and I fell in love. There were times I thought I would walk away from the medical field but I always seem to come back. I went to school to become an EMT and loved that type of work as well. Fast forward many years to this last year, I decided it was time to finally get my CNA license. So I did! I used that in a skilled facility until I quickly learned I love that type of work but I much prefer working more one on one with people to be able to personalize their care to them. I enjoy hearing stories from my clients on what times were like when they were young. I currently am going back to school to get my MA and even talks about going for my RN. My free time is very limited. I am a wife, and also a mom of 2 very active boys. Our boys are both in Taekwondo martial arts. Our oldest is a 1st degree black belt working towards achieving his 2nd degree. Our youngest youngest is striving hard to get his black belt while also juggling soccer. We compete in taekwondo tournaments across the country. So we love to travel when we can and explore new places. I homeschool both boys so we can make our travels possible.

💙 MEET THE CAREGIVERS 💙 Laura
Hi everyone! My name is Laura and I’m 43 years old.

I live in Potterville with my wonderful husband, Chad, and our son, Brayden, who is a young entrepreneur and will be turning 13 in July! Chad is a truck driver, and Brayden owns his own business, which makes me incredibly proud.

Our family also includes our three fur babies—our two rescue dogs, Libby and Gabby, and our cat, Lynx, who definitely keeps us entertained!

I’ve been a caregiver for over 20 years and have had the privilege of working in many facilities and home care agencies, caring for the elderly. My passion has always been one-on-one companionship because it allows me to truly get to know my clients and make a meaningful difference in their lives. Helping others brings me so much joy, and I truly have a heart for serving people with kindness and compassion.

I’ve been with my current client for four years, and I recently switched agencies. I absolutely love where I am now! Everyone has been so welcoming, kind, and supportive, and I truly feel appreciated.

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me spending quality time with my family, enjoying the outdoors, watching TV, or running my home boutique.

I am a mother to 5 daughters, 27 grandkids, and 3 great grandkids. My caregiving began at 3 and 4 yrs old when I would take my toy nursing kit to my grandma and grandpas house to take care of my grandpa. I later, at 12 became the babysitter to all family members kids.
