Yin Yoga actually isn't as mysterious as it sounds!😊✨
It's different than faster-paced styles of yoga. Yin Yoga focuses on long, gentle stretches held for several minutes at a time. The goal isn't to build strength or break a sweat - it's to help release tension in the deeper connective tissues around the hips, back, shoulders, and joints.
Many of us spend our days sitting at computers, looking at phones, driving, or simply moving through life without taking time to slow down and stretch. Yin Yoga creates space for the body to unwind, improve flexibility, and restore mobility.
It's also a wonderful practice for beginners and anyone looking to reduce stress, improve sleep, increase energy, or simply feel a little more comfortable in their body!
