For a long time, I wasn’t living… I was surviving. I built walls, stayed on guard, and did whatever I had to do just to make it through another day.

Recovery taught me something powerful: surviving got me here, but it wasn’t meant to keep me here. There comes a time when we have to stop living from our wounds and start living from our purpose.

Don’t apologize for the person you had to become to survive. Just don’t be afraid to become the person God is calling you to be so you can truly thrive. That’s where freedom begins.
