One of the highlights of my British Isles trip was visiting Keukenhof Gardens near Amsterdam. Walking among millions of blooming tulips reminded me how healing beauty can be.

We often think of self-care as taking time to rest—and that’s important—but sometimes self-care looks like exploring a new place, slowing down enough to notice the flowers, breathing deeply, and simply enjoying God’s incredible creation.

Moments like these refill our hearts so we can return to everyday life feeling refreshed.

Self-care isn’t always about escaping life. Sometimes it’s about fully experiencing it.
