Hello Eatonville!!!

As we hope most of you are already aware, the 56th annual Eatonville Arts and Music Festival starts this Friday through Sunday, and we are really excited about bringing this wonderful event to our community!

However…

This year we expect record attendance, which means that we have bitten off more than we can chew in the kitchen. We currently do not have enough people signed up to cook and work in the front of house to staff all of our shifts, so we are reaching out to you, the community that we serve, to ask for your help in making this wonderful Eatonville tradition successful again this year!

If you can, please, go to our sign-up site below, and pick a shift or two to work with us, your neighbors, and help keep this wonderful Eatonville tradition alive, and if you’d rather not sign up via the portal, just show up Friday afternoon or Saturday afternoon, and help out.

Thank you.

Please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up. If you have any questions or need help signing up, please contact me at 253-677-6949. It is recommended that anyone handling food, complete the online food handler's course at Do it Right, Serve it Safe! The cost is $10. Doc...

Hey folks, come on down to our annual fireworks sales event in the Mill Village parking lot on Center St., East!

It’s a grand old Eatonville tradition, and unlike other vendors in the area, all profits from our fireworks sales are returned to the community in support of many local causes!

Hey folks, it’s time once again for one of our favorite events of the year, the annual Eatonville Lions Club kids fishing derby, held on Saturday, April 25 at the pond in Smallwood Park.

The pond will be stocked with roughly 500 12” to 16” rainbow trout courtesy of Washington Fish and wildlife, and the derby is for kids ages 15 and under, and the limit is five fish per kid.

We offer prizes for the biggest fish every hour starting at 7 AM, and we give away the grand prize for the biggest fish of the day at 10 AM.

Fishing starts at first light, and we offer a free cocoa and pancakes to anyone who wants them!

Grab your kids, come on down for one of of Eatonville’s grandest old traditions, we look forward to seeing you there!

Additionally, the Eatonville Cruiser wrestling club will offer a fish cleaning service by donation, see flyer in the first comment!

Finally, if you’re looking to do something fun tomorrow morning, Thursday, April 23rd at 10 AM, come down and join us and the first graders and kindergartners from Eatonville as we countdown and cheer as the game department releases the fish into the pond!!!

We look forward to seeing you there!
