Sharing a volunteer opportunity related to housing in our community. See details below......................
Help make sure everyone in our community is counted.
On the night of Wednesday, July 22, 2026, staff and volunteers from local shelters and community organizations will conduct the biannual Point-in-Time Homeless Count across Eau Claire, Buffalo, Trempealeau, and Jackson counties.
The Point-in-Time Count helps communities better understand homelessness, connect people with services, and secure funding for housing and support programs.
We're looking for additional volunteers in the City of Eau Claire and surrounding rural areas. No prior experience is necessary—training and guidance will be provided.
If you can spare a few hours, your time can make a meaningful difference.

Join us at our coalition meeting on Thursday, July 16th from 1-2:30pm in Room G034 (ground level of the Eau Claire County Government Center, near the WIC clinic).

We’re hosting a presentation called “Changing Landscape of Healthcare in our Community” with panelists from Lutheran Social Services of WI & Upper Michigan, Marshfield Clinic-Sanford Health, Mayo Clinic Health System, Northlakes Community Clinic, and Rogers Behavioral Health. They'll be answering these questions: How has your organization evolved to meet the growing healthcare needs of our community in the last two years? What is on the horizon that excites you? How are you considering health priorities like substance misuse, mental health, access to healthcare, childcare, housing in your organization? Are there ways the task force could support these efforts?

Hope you can join us!

Check out our NEW snack guides!

We've developed a resource guide filled with healthy snack ideas designed to promote nutritious choices, including fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and high-fiber foods that are lower in added sugars and unhealthy fats. The guide is tailored into three distinct versions: one for general healthy snacks, another specifically for healthy school classroom snacks, and the final one for healthy concession stand snacks.

Find the guides on our under the healthy food and nutrition section of our resources page (www.echealthalliance.org/resources) or find the links directly to the documents in the comments.
