Many believe ADHD is synonymous with hyperactivity and impulsivity, but it is much more than that! Too often, symptoms of inattention are missed. These symptoms tend to affect females more than males, and they can be misunderstood because they can appear as other emotional challenges or the individual's ability to hyperfocus on areas of interest can make it seem like they don't have attention challenges.
