It’s Veterinary Technician Week! 💙

This week, we’re celebrating the incredible veterinary technicians who do so much to care for our patients and support their families. Please join us in thanking our amazing veterinary technicians for everything they do!

We headed out to CareVet Prairie Village Pet Hospital to meet a very special patient, Tawny. Tawny is a pug who needed a CT of her liver, and her owner, Dr. Owens, was right there with her. Dr. Owens is also one of the veterinarians at the hospital, so Tawny’s scan gave her the imaging she needs to decide on next steps.

Tawny is one lucky pug to have Dr. Owens as not just her Veterinarian, but her mom as well! It was a pleasure to meet them both and to work with the whole CareVet Prairie Village Pet Hospital team! 🐾

More walks. More couch cuddles. More mornings waking up with them by your side. ❤️🐾

As our pets get older, every moment together feels a little more meaningful. While we can’t stop the aging process, proactive veterinary care can help support their health, comfort, and quality of life along the way.

Regular senior checkups and recommended diagnostics can help identify health concerns earlier, giving you and your veterinary team more opportunities to manage them.
