🏈❤️ Football Day at The Waters! ❤️🏈

One of our favorite traditions returned as the Eden Prairie High School Football Team and Cheerleaders joined us for an afternoon of fun, friendly competition, and community!

We kicked things off with a touch football game featuring the Eagles vs. The Waters staff, followed by a push-up contest and, of course, the always-entertaining hot dog eating contest! 🌭💪🏈 There was plenty of cheering and laughter from our residents on the sidelines!

After the competition, the players traded their footballs for serving trays and helped serve a hot dog meal to our residents. The best part of the afternoon, though, was seeing the players pull up a chair, visit with residents, share stories, and enjoy time together.

A HUGE thank you to the Eden Prairie Eagles for spending the afternoon with us! We loved having you and will be cheering you on all season long! 🦅🏈

Our latest Travel Club adventure took us to beautiful Morocco! 🌍✈️
We were especially lucky to welcome our guest speaker, Sara, who lived in Morocco with her family for seven years. Sara shared stories, photos, and experiences from their time there, giving our residents a wonderful firsthand look at Moroccan culture and everyday life. We are so grateful to her for sharing her experiences with us!

Then, that evening, residents gathered together to enjoy a delicious Moroccan-inspired meal and experience the flavors of Morocco for themselves! It was the perfect way to wrap up our journey and bring everything we learned earlier in the day to life. ❤️

Abs has been a dedicated member of our team for more than 20 years, providing care, support, and a familiar, friendly face to countless residents and families over the years. His many years of service and commitment to our community are truly something worth celebrating! Please join us in congratulating Abs on this well-deserved recognition and thanking him for 20+ amazing years of making a difference! 👏💙

A big thank you to our wonderful volunteers from National Charity League (NCL) for dropping off an abundance of beautiful fresh flowers! Our Petals Neighborhood had a wonderful time sorting through all the colorful blooms and creating their own beautiful arrangements. 🌷🌼

We loved seeing everyone’s creativity come to life—and now we have plenty of gorgeous arrangements to brighten up our neighborhood! 💕🌺

⚾️ Take us out to the ball game! ⚾️
Our residents recently enjoyed a beautiful day at the ballpark cheering on the Minnesota Twins—and we even got to see a Twins win! ❤️💙 From the crack of the bat to the classic ballpark snacks, it was a fun-filled outing with great company and plenty of Twins spirit.

The day was extra special for two of our residents who were visiting Target Field for the very first time! They even received certificates to commemorate their first trip to the ballpark. ⚾️

🎣 Fishing Trip #2 is in the books!
We were lucky enough to head back out on the water with the wonderful volunteers from Let’s Go Fishing for another beautiful afternoon on the lake. With plenty of catches, fresh air, and good company, there were lots of smiles and fishing stories to bring back home! ☀️🐟☀️

Once a month, our Director of Culinary, hosts Conversation with Culinary, giving residents the opportunity to sit down and talk about all things dining! 🍽️
From sharing feedback on favorite meals and menu ideas to discussing the overall dining experience, this monthly conversation gives our residents a chance to ask questions, share suggestions, and make their voices heard. We love creating opportunities for our residents to be part of the conversation — because their feedback helps us continue to make our community the best it can be! ❤️
