Life offers us countless opportunities to grow, but it’s in the most challenging moments that our true transformation often begins. When we face something as overwhelming as a major accident or crisis, it’s natural to feel shaken, confused, and even ask, “Why me?” But if we can pause, breathe, and open our hearts, these experiences can become profound teachers.

Rather than seeing hardship as punishment or failure, try to shift your perspective. What if, instead of focusing on what went wrong, you asked, “What can I learn from this? What wisdom does this experience carry?” With this question, your experience shifts from something that feels heavy and burdensome into something sacred.

Often, in the chaos of life, we lose our balance. We become consumed by our emotions or driven by external pressures, forgetting to nurture ourselves, to connect with our inner wisdom.

Perhaps the lesson is that we need to slow down, to honor our emotions without letting them control us. Or maybe it’s an opportunity to rediscover faith—faith not only in something greater than ourselves but in our own capacity to navigate life’s unpredictability. When we approach life’s challenges as gifts, as opportunities for growth, we stop seeing ourselves as victims of circumstance and instead recognize that every experience, even the most difficult ones, are shaping us into more authentic, empowered beings.

This doesn’t mean denying the pain or struggle of these moments. It means choosing not to let them define us or pull us into cycles of self-blame. It means learning to sit with discomfort without judging ourselves or the situation. With this shift in perspective, life becomes not a series of problems to solve, but a journey of learning and self-discovery.

By investigating every experience—especially the difficult ones—with openness and curiosity, we step into a new level of self-awareness. We cultivate a deeper relationship with ourselves and the world around us. Life is simply unfolding, and we are here to embrace its lessons, knowing that each one is guiding us toward greater balance, wisdom, and strength.

What does it mean to “open our hearts?

To open your heart, is to become one with all that is and to be fully aware that you are a spiritual being.

There is no negativity in the heart only unconditional love, joy, and peace.

Your heart energy, is always pure and loving, and will give you answers and great wisdom.

The more love we radiate, the more the heart opens. Then, more love comes back to us, opening the heart to give even more love—an infinite expanding love-loop!

Find happiness. Find joy. Find compassion again. Give the time to yourself. Feel the energy flow inside. Find beauty in the nature. Find beauty inside you. Find beauty around you.

When you are happy, your liver is happy. Your liver is the ocean of blood. Then your organs are happy. When your organs are happy, the vibration among your organs is in harmony. Healing starts taking place. Slow down your life. Go back to the nature. Hug the trees. See the flow of the water. Sit by doing nothing, just looking the drifting clouds in the sky. See the moon shining on you. All these things can bring you happiness. Once happiness comes back, then healing takes place.

Many Blessings,

Hello, my dear friends,

Higher levels of understanding and enlightenment are not something we achieve in spite of our struggles, but because of them. It is through knowing sickness that we come to cherish the beauty of health. Through suffering, we awaken to the deep well of compassion within us. By experiencing worry, we learn to fully appreciate the peace that follows.

At our Healing Center, we hear transformative stories from those who have experienced profound shifts in their lives. So many share with us, "Now, I see my cancer as a blessing," or "My accident was the greatest thing that ever happened to me," or even, "I am so grateful for the depression that led me here."

These words come from a place of deep realization—where they have begun to see life not as a series of burdens, but as a beautiful unfolding. They begin to feel love in ways they never have before, an expansive love that reaches not only within but out to the world around them. They start to help others heal in ways that reflect their own transformation.

They become more in tune with the harmony of life, moving with grace through each moment, regardless of where they are or what they’re facing. They are no longer defined by their struggles; they are becoming their higher selves.

This is the miracle of healing: we do not transcend our lower nature by ignoring it, but by embracing it, learning from it, and allowing it to guide us to a deeper love and understanding of ourselves and the world. And in doing so, we become our Highest Selves.

Many Blessings,

Hello, my dear friends,

"Even if you do not feel the energy being moved – it is still moving. Even if you do not believe you can transform energy – it is still being transformed."

You don't need to believe in it for it to work.

If you believe it, it works.
If you don't believe it, it still works.
If you believe it will work, it often works faster.

Either way, it works, because energy is energy.

Albert Einstein established that "energy cannot be destroyed, but energy can be transformed.
Energy is in a constant state of transformation. In fact, you are constantly being engaged in transforming your energy, whether you are aware of it or not.

As you continue to practice Qigong you may notice that feelings that you once had during your practice have shifted or maybe they have completely disappeared. That is just fine!

Just trust that when you are moving the energy, what is happening is what is supposed to be happening.

Many Blessings,

Break up Blockages that Lead to Aging Spots anywhere on your Skin!

HOW TO: Use the palm of your right hand to massage the back of your left hand using a circular movement.

Massaging either direction is fine and massaging in different directions at different times is fine too.

Do this for at least one minute.

As you massage, repeat from your heart:

💛 "All my channels are open; the aging spots in my body are completely gone."

Repeat using the palm of your left hand to massage the back your right hand.

HOW LONG: 1-3 minutes each hand

HOW OFTEN: As often as you’d like

The backs of the hands are where the Yin and Yang Qi channels for the skin meet. Massaging this area helps open energy pathways, improve circulation, and break up blockages that may contribute to aging spots throughout the body.

🌿 Simple. Relaxing. Powerful.

Give your skin—and your Qi—some extra love this summer.

☯️💧 Yin-Yang Water for the Summer Solstice

Hello, my dear friends,

As we approach the Summer Solstice, nature reaches the peak of Yang energy—the longest day of the year, filled with light, vitality, growth, and expansion. ☀️

Yet according to Chinese wisdom, at the very moment Yang reaches its fullest expression, Yin begins to emerge. Nature reminds us that true harmony comes from maintaining balance between the two.

One simple practice I enjoy every day to support this balance is drinking Yin-Yang Water.

This traditional Taoist practice is very simple:

💧 Fill half a glass with room-temperature spring water (tap water is okay).

🔥 Fill the other half with freshly boiled water.

☯️ Mix them together and drink while it is still warm.

This simple blend of Yin and Yang energies helps support balance in the digestive system, encourages healthy circulation, and promotes harmonious energy flow throughout the body.

For an added treat, you can mix in a little high-quality raw honey.

As the Solstice approaches and nature's vitality reaches its peak, take a few moments each day to nourish your own inner balance.

Many Blessings,

“Only the unconditional love of the soul, the joy of the heart—happiness for absolutely no reason at all. To have is a joy, and not to have is a joy. To be well is a joy, and not to be well is a joy. And that’s the greatest freedom of all.” – Chunyi Lin

True freedom comes not from external circumstances, but from the unshakable joy within your own heart. 🌸

💫 When we connect with our soul’s unconditional love, happiness is no longer dependent on what we have, what we feel, or what happens around us. Every moment—whether filled with ease or challenge—becomes an opportunity to experience joy.

This is not just philosophy—it’s a practice. Through Spring Forest Qigong, we learn to awaken this inner joy, nurture our energy, and cultivate a freedom that nothing in the world can take away.

🌿Can you let joy be present simply because it’s who you are, not because of your circumstances?

Many Blessing to You and Your Loved Ones,
Chunyi Lin

Hello, my dear friends,

If someone has weak energy after an illness or operation, practice Qigong (moving of yin and yang) in the morning between 5:00am to 10:00am, this will help you build your energy much faster than the afternoon

If a person’s energy is very hyper, practice in the afternoon rather than the morning.

For people with strong anxiety, it is better to practice in the afternoon.

People with depression, should practice in the morning sun.

Overall, in the morning the Yang energy channels start working, such as the stomach, and lung channels. These channels help to detoxify and at the same time they gain a lot of energy for your body.

In the afternoon, the energy starts getting more yin, so your body is going to collect more energy to get ready for the evening and make balance in the body.

If you want to calm down or balance your energy in a certain area, practice in the afternoon, when the energy is more yin.

If you want to gain or activate or detoxify energy in a certain area, practice in the morning, when the energy in more yang.

Remember GOOD, BETTER, BEST! Anytime you make for Qigong is Good!

Hope this helps!

Many Blessings,
Chunyi Lin

Hello, my dear friends,

Every morning remind yourself...

“What is my priority for my life?"

"How do I make the most out of this life?"

Make sure every thought you have stays in alignment with your priority and with what you want to see in the world.

A day isn't wasted as long as you achieve some goal, no matter how small

Stay focused. Setting goals and working toward your life purpose helps keep your mind focused and gives you meaning in life.

Connect with your heart and intuition and follow it, you will open a world of opportunity and the possibilities are endless.

Many Blessings,
Chunyi Lin

"Qigong is the art of being able to harness and align yourself with Life-Force energy. This energy has the power to clear out stagnant, stuck spaces or states of being"

Qigong says, everyone’s body has a network of energy channels running through it. When the channels are open and lots of energy is flowing freely through them, the body works wonderfully: you are healthy, happy, and peaceful.

When the channels get blocked (say, through stress and emotions, poor nutrition, injuries, and so on), energy cannot flow freely and begins to become imbalanced – too much here, too little there. In time, this shows up in the body, as what we call “sickness” or “disease.”

What all of the Spring Forest Qigong movements, meditations, and techniques you practice come down to is... opening channels and balancing energy. This helps the energy to transform in ways that help your healing. That’s it!

In Qigong, we are studying and working with energy: how it works in the world and in the body, and how we can use that understanding to benefit ourselves and the world.
